A single photo but like it's time-lapsed. There's a cut-away view of, first, a seed just beginning to open an inch under the ground, then eleven more views as the seed sprouts and the pale stem with the two green winglets emerges into the light.

It's time

Seeds under the blanket of earth,
roots snuggled in.

When Spring vibrates and its alarm goes off,
will my garden wake up eager?
Or will it, so like me,
push the snooze button
for just a few more moments
of oblivious hibernation
before gathering its wits.

Next:  Too much?
